Quality control
The laboratory of nondestructive inspection (NDIL) and destructive tests (DTL) realize the incoming and outgoing quality inspection of all Holding metal products. This independent structures, are certificated in such systems like GOST and Industrial Safety ROSTECHNADZOR.
Since the foundation of the Baltic Metallurgical Company it was pay a lot of attention to the quality inspection: at first the quality inspection was realized by the QCD (Quality Control Dep.) department but according to the increasing of the Holding activity it was realized by the independent structure, which became to establish since 2006 year.
NDIL realizes the nondestructive inspection ( by visually-measuring, capillary, magnetic particle and ultrasonic methods) and DTL – realizes the destructive tests, which let to define mechanical characteristics of metal examples.
Special attention the Laboratory devotes to the weld crack detection, as well as to the basic metal control on lamination, which lets to prevent the outflow of defective product.
